A more technical description of how that memory works appears on the company's own blog, in a post titled 'Why emotional consistency matters more than realness.' Embedded in that post is what Kindroid calls an 'Add-on Feature Matrix': a table describing how optional, monthly add-on tiers named Standard, Ultra, and MAX expand a companion's total conversation context, backstory length, and group-chat context limits, with figures ranging from roughly 790,000 characters of context at the base tier to 3.5 million at the top tier. The same post states that regardless of tier, long-term memory 'consolidation spans all messages and is infinite for all users.'

What the evidence says

Two distinct claims sit inside Kindroid's own materials. The about page's plain-language pitch, a friend who 'remembers,' is brand language aimed at a general reader. The blog's feature matrix is a more technical claim: that long-term memory consolidation is unbounded in scope even though the context a companion can actively hold in a single exchange is tiered, finite, measured in characters, and larger for paying subscribers. Kindroid does not publish an independent audit of retrieval accuracy, so the word infinite should be read as a claim about the theoretical scope of storage and consolidation, not a verified guarantee that any specific detail will be retrieved correctly on request. What it asks of people
